What is Team Viewer?

TeamViewer - The activity of controlling a remote computer or its cool term called a remote desktop window is very witnessing. we can control the computer of friends, relatives or other people. like my experience at school first. Try to imagine if your own laptop is controlled by someone else, it will be difficult.

In accessing the computer remotely we need the remote application. Actually, in the Windows 10 operating system and the previous version, this software has also been equipped with Remote Dektop Connection. You can also use the application, for example, TeamViever.

TeamViewer is an exclusive computer software package for remote control, sharing desktop meetings online, web conferencing and file transfers between computers.

TeamViewer is available for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Chrome OS, iOS, Android Windows RT, Windows Phone 8 and BlackBerry operating systems. It is also possible to access machines running TeamViewer with a web browser. While the main focus of this application is computer remote control, collaboration and presentation features are included.

TeamViewer can be used at no cost by non-commercial users, and Business, Premium and Corporate versions are available.

TeamViewer GmbH was founded in 2005 in Göppingen, Germany. UK-based private equity firm Permira acquired TeamViewer GmbH from Durham, North Carolina GFI software developer in 2014. The company also hosts an online cloud backup service called Airbackup.

Establish connections

TeamViewer can be installed with the installation procedure, although the 'Quick Support' version will run without installation. To connect to another computer, TeamViewer must run on both machines. To install TeamViewer, administrator access is needed, but once installed, it can be run by any user. When TeamViewer starts on the computer, it generates partner IDs and keywords (user-defined keywords are also supported). To make a connection between the local client and the remote client, the resulting TeamViewer ID and password from both clients are required. Local clients require client IDs and remote keywords to get control over remote clients, while remote clients require client IDs and client passwords to gain control over local clients.

To start an online meeting, the presenter gives the Meeting ID to participants. They join the meeting using the full version of TeamViewer. It is also possible to schedule meetings first.

Security

TeamViewer uses private / public key exchange (2048-bit) and AES (256-bit) session encryption.

In the default configuration, TeamViewer uses one of the TeamViewer.com servers to start the connection and routing traffic between the local client and the remote host machine. The software then determines how to make a connection. In 70% of cases after handshake, direct connections via UDP or TCP are formed; Other connections are routed through the TeamViewer GmbH network router (via TCP or HTTP-tunneling).
